My name is Greg Pines, I teach AP Statistics and sometimes Trig/Stats, Alg2/Trig, and Algebra 2. My Bachelors Degree is in Mathematics and my teaching credential is from Long Beach State University. I was an All-American baseball player Saddleback College and played 4 years in the minor leagues with the Seattle Mariners, Minnesota Twins, and Houston Astros.
I was the baseball coach here at Rancho Alamitos for 16 years from 2006 to 2021 and currently am one of the athletic directors.

My wife and I have 3 children. When I am not teaching and coaching I like to surf, play washers, and play cribbage.
